Emily Ryan is an American middle blocker. Emily has finished her last collegiate season as a graduate student, making it six years including her undergraduate years at University of California, Los Angeles. Prior to coming to Florida State University, Emily played 4 out of 5 years at UCLA where she earned 2021 All-Pac 12 Conference Honorable Mention. Emily also was leading the team with 1.25 blocks per set and ranking fourth among Pac-12 players and was also first with a .316 hitting percentage, ranking sixth in the Pac-12. Where she experienced making it to the NCAA Sweet 16 in 2017, NCAA Second Round in 2019, NCAA Second Round in 2020-21, NCAA Sweet 16 in 2021.

Emily then came to Florida State University for her final year of NCAA eligibility, where she played in all 110 sets. While leading the team in 119 blocks and was third on the team with 236 kills. Emily was named All-ACC Second Team and was named 2022 AVCA All-Region Honorable Mention. In Emily Ryan’s first game at FSU she registered 10 kills and .316 attacking percentage. Emily helped lead the team to round 1 of the NCAA tournament Fall 2022.

Emily made it to the Sweet 16 twice as well as helping lead the UCLA Bruins twice to round 2 of NCAAs. Lastly, Emily Ryan helped lead FSU to round 1 of NCAA, Fall 2022.
