Taylor is a dominant American middle blocker and two-sport Division I athlete from the University of Connecticut, where she excelled in both Women’s Volleyball and Track & Field. A relentless competitor and team captain, Pannell made her mark in the Big East with multiple honors, including Big East All-Conference recognition, Big East Player of the Week, and three-time Big East Defensive Player of the Week. Over her collegiate career, she set the UConn record for most sets played and ranks among the program’s top five all-time in blocks and top seven in hitting percentage. Pannell recently finished her first pro season with Volley Lugano in Switzerland in the 2025–26 season.
