Laura is a Dutch National team outside hitter who played the 24-25 season for top French club Neptunes de Nantes. Since beginning her professional career in France in 2023 with Pays d’Aix Venelles, Jansen has quickly made her mark in the Ligue A Féminine. In the 2024–2025 season, she helped lead Nantes to a Gold Medal in the French SuperCup, Silver Medals in both the French Cup and French Championship, and a top position in the league standings. Jansen trained with the Dutch National Team in the summer of 2024 and is included on the long roster for the 2025 Volleyball Nations League. Prior to turning professional, she played collegiate volleyball in the United States, spending her final season at Washington State University, where she was named to the AVCA Pacific North All-Region Team and earned All-Pac-12 Honorable Mention honors while leading the team to a top-32 NCAA Tournament finish. She began her college career at the University of Arkansas–Little Rock, where she was a two-time Sun Belt All-Conference First Team selection.
