Ella is an American setter that's currently playing with the US National team. Ella played two seasons professionally in France, first for Beziers Volley (23-24) where she led them to a Silver Medal in the French SuperCup and then for Neptunes de Nantes (24-25) where she led them to a Gold Medal in the French SuperCup and a Silver Medal in the French Cup and French league championship playoffs. In 2024 Ella was selected to the US National team's PanAmerican Cup roster and helped the team earn a Silver medal in the tournament. In 2025 Ella is playing in the Volleyball National league with the US National team. Ella played college volleyball for the University of Washington from 2018-2022. Ella May led Washington in the setting position every year that she was there and helped them consistently rank in the top-25 in the country. She was a four time All-American, All-Region, and All Pac-12 player. Ella May has also spent time with the US National Team. In the summer of 2019 Ella May made the US Collegiate National team and the U20 US National Team that competed in the U20 World Championships in Mexico. Ella is signed to the US's League One Volleyball (LOVB) for the 2026 and 2027 seasons.
