Naya Shime is an American opposite hitter, recently having competed with the Orlando Valkyries of Spring 2026 for Major League Volleyball. Following a standout collegiate career at SMU, where she was an AVCA All-American (Third Team) and All-ACC First Team selection, she was selected 13th overall in the 2024, then PVF, Draft. Known for her terminal attacking and ability to perform in high-pressure moments, she was instrumental in elevating SMU to a nationally ranked program and recorded over 1,000 career kills. After a successful start with Grand Rapids Rise, she continues to be a dominant force in the pro's.
