Lydia is an American opposite who competed in her first professional season with the Orlando Valkyries helping them win the 2025 PVF Championship. She was selected as the first pick of the third round in the 2025 PVF Draft after a standout collegiate career at Cal Berkeley and the University of Minnesota. At Cal, she earned Pac-12 All-Freshman honors and later became the team’s top offensive threat, finishing among the top 10 in the conference for kills and points per set. After transferring to Minnesota, she earned All-Big Ten and AVCA All-Region honors in both 2023 and 2024, and helped lead the Gophers to the second round of the NCAA Tournament. Lydia will play the 2025-2026 season for Allianz MTV Stuttgart - one of the top clubs in the German Bundesliga.
