LaurenBertolacci

Lauren is an accomplished international volleyball coach with a proven track record of success at both the national team and professional club levels. Currently the Head Coach of the Swiss Women’s National Team, she led Switzerland to a historic first-ever Round of 16 finish at EuroVolley 2023 and improved their European ranking from 31st to 26th within two years. Her international résumé also includes assistant coaching roles with Team Canada—earning a bronze medal at the NORCECA Championships—and Australia’s Women’s and Men’s National Teams, where she contributed to podium finishes and global tournament appearances. At the club level, Bertolacci has built a powerhouse program with Viteos NUC in Switzerland’s top league (NLA), securing multiple Swiss Championships, Swiss Cups, and SuperCup titles since 2018. Under her leadership, the team also reached the final of the 2024 CEV Cup and produced multiple league MVPs. A former professional player with 96 caps for Australia and a decade-long career across Europe, Bertolacci holds advanced coaching certifications and degrees in human movement and strength & conditioning. She is widely respected for her leadership, athlete development, and competitive results on the international stage. Bertolacci has dual citizenship and holds an Italian and Australian passport.
