Josie is an American left-handed setter with a versatile collegiate and international career. She played NCAA volleyball at LSU, Ohio State, and the University of Dayton, where she made two NCAA Sweet 16 appearances and won two Atlantic 10 regular season and two conference tournament championships. Vondran began her professional career in Spain with CAV Esquimo before moving to Switzerland to compete with Volley Düdingen. In the 2024–2025 season, she helped lead Düdingen to a silver medal in the Swiss SuperCup and competed in the CEV Challenge Cup. She has just finished her second season with Volley Düdingen for the 2025–2026 season.
