Toyosi Onabanjo is an American middle blocker who had a decorated collegiate foundation at Kansas and Iowa, where she developed into one of the nation's most efficient net threats. An AVCA All-American Honorable Mention and All-Big 12 First Team selection, she capped her college career with 300 blocks and a standout senior season featuring a .409 hitting percentage—a mark that ranked among the top 15 in the country. This led her to be selected No. 8 overall in the 2024 MLV Draft by the Omaha Supernovas. Since signing her first professional contract for the 2024-25 season, she has quickly transitioned her game to the pro level, flashing her high ceiling during a late-season rookie surge that saw her rack up 26 kills across her final three matches, including a vital 11-kill, two-block performance in the MLV Semifinals against Indy Ignite. For the 2025-26 season, she finished the championship match with the SuperNovas with silver.
