Kayla is an American outside hitter with international and championship experience. Her most recent pro season was spent competing with the US Pro Volleyball Federation (PVF) team San Diego Mojo. In Spring 2024, she competed for Las Changas Naranjito in Puerto Rico’s top league. During the 2022–2023 season, she played for NUC Volleyball in Switzerland, where she led the team to Gold in the Swiss Cup, Swiss SuperCup, and Swiss playoff championships. That season she also competed against some of the top athletes in Europe in the CEV Cup. Kayla had a standout collegiate career at the University of Pittsburgh where she was an AVCA First Team All-American and played a big role in transforming the program to a national powerhouse. She led Pitt to its first ACC Championships (2017, 2018, 2019), an Elite Eight appearance (2020), and the program’s historic Final Four debut (2021).
