Perry Ramsey joins Athletes Abroad and signs first professional contract

Athletes Abroad is pleased to announce the signing of Perry Ramsey to our agency and to her first professional contract with Nurmon Jymy in Finland. Nurmon Jymy is going into their second season in the top league in Finland, the Finnish Mestaruusliga. Perry spent most of her college volleyball career at North Carolina State University where she was a 3-year starter from 2014-2017. Perry was a part of the 2017 squad who broke many records for the program and made it to the second round of the NCAA tournament. She then played her final year of eligibility at Gonzaga University where she was as an outside hitter and opposite.

Here’s what Perry had to say about signing with Athletes Abroad and Nurmon Jymy –

“The decision to sign with Athletes Abroad was an easy one. I felt as though I was treated like a family member from the first moment. I was given nothing but transparency and trust throughout the process and I knew with them my best interests were a priority.

I’m really looking forward to playing the sport I love again overseas. I’m excited to join Nurmon Jymy and gain more knowledge about the game from an entirely new coach, team, and environment. The chance to play professionally is not given to many so I am truly blessed and grateful for this opportunity!”

Athletes Abroad wishes Perry the best of luck this season!
