Athletes Abroad is pleased to announce the signing of American volleyball player Maggie Speaks. Maggie spent her rookie season as a professional in Greece where she was the starting setter for Makedones-Axiou. In the 2017-2018 season Maggie helped the team reach their highest ever finish in Greek’s top league (3^rd place). Prior to her time in Greece, Maggie played college volleyball at North Carolina State University where she holds the record for assists in a single match (64) and team attack percentage in a match (.468). In her senior season (2016) Maggie was as an All-ACC and AVCA All-East Region selection.

In 2018 Maggie represented Team USA and helped them to a 2^nd place finish at the World University Games in Vietnam.
