Cara Cresse is a 6 foot 6 American middle. Cara played college volleyball for the University of Louisville where she made her mark as one of the best blockers in the nation. In her junior season (2024) Cara ranked 7th nationally in blocks per set (1.50). Cara picked up numerous accolades in her college career including All-American (2025), HM All-American (2024), All ACC (2023, 2024, 2025), and AVCA All-Region (2023, 2024, 2025). During her college career Cara led her team to multiple NCAA Final Fours finishing as the National Championship runner up in 2024 and being named to the NCAA tournament Regional team in 2023. In 2025 Cara spent the summer with the U23 US National team where she helped them win Gold at the NORCECA U23 Pan American Cup. Cara was drafted 5th overall in the 2025 MLV draft by Indy Ignite where she is now playing her first professional season.
